Luis Robles Nominated for MLS Save of the Week

It seems like there's not a week that goes by in MLS where Luis Robles isn't nominated for's Save of the Week. Well guess what?

Luis Robles has been nominated for MLS Save of the Week.

The Red Bulls' goalkeeper earned his eighth shutout of the season Saturday in New York's 0-0 draw against the Philadelphia Union in front of a sold-out crowd at Red Bull Arnea. The point may not have been the result the club wanted, but it was enough to place them in a tie with Sporting KC for first place in the eastern conference. This highlight-reel, fingertip save late in the match stands as a deciding factor in New York's ability to get one point, rather than handing three to Philly in what could've potentially been a 1-0 loss.
