New York Red Bulls II have one game in hand and seek its first ever victory this weekend at Red Bull Arena. After a 0-0 draw against Rochester Rhinos, NYRB II has earned its first USL point and look to earn the full three points in the second match of the USL season.



Coverage of New York Red Bulls II vs. Toronto FC II on April 4 at Red Bull Arena will begin at 3:30 p.m. EDT (WATCH: Live stream available on NewYorkRedBulls.com/Live).


Here are some numbers to know ahead of Saturday’s match.


0 – New York Red Bulls II did not concede a goal in the opening match against Rochester Rhinos. As a reward for the impressive defensive efforts, defender Colin Heffron was named to the USL Team of the Week for his performance at both left back and center back.


2 – This will be the first of two meetings with Toronto FC II this season. TFC II is 1-1-0 heading into this weekend’s clash, coming off of a 2-0 victory against Canadian rivals FC Montreal.


4 – Goalkeeper Santiago Castano made four saves in NYRB II’s first match. The goalkeeper was unafraid to run off his line, owned the penalty box and maintained his first professional shutout. Check out his saves here in the match highlights video.


4 – Four Red Bulls Academy players made their professional debuts last weekend. RBNY Under-18 players Kyle Zajec, Derrick Etienne, Marcello Borges and Juan Sebastian Sanchez all made appearances in the historic home opener. Red Bulls Academy signing Tyler Adams did not play in the opener, but is expected to be in the lineup this weekend.


6 – There are six matches left to be played at Red Bull Arena this season before Red Bulls II begin playing at Columbia University in Manhattan. New York Red Bulls announced this week that NYRB II will play games at the Baker Athletic Complex’s Rocco B. Commisso Soccer Stadium. The first match at Columbia will be played on May 17 against Charleston Battery.


11 - The New York Red Bulls have loaned 11 players on MLS contracts to USL side New York Red Bulls II for this weekend. With the first team on a bye, 11 players have been made available for the NYRB II match against Toronto FC II on Saturday afternoon at Red Bull Arena.
