The New York Red Bulls travel to Rochester this week for a Wednesday night matchup with the Rochester Rhinos (USL) in the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Kickoff from Rhinos Stadium in Rochester is set for 7 p.m.

The Rochester Rhinos will provide a live stream of the match, which will be available through www.NewYorkRedBulls.com/live. The Red Bulls will also provide English and Spanish radio through Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn.

Matt Harmon will host Countdown to Kickoff starting at 6:30 p.m. before providing English play-by-play. Ernesto Motta will call the game in Spanish for Red Bulls Radio beginning at 7 p.m.

It will be the Red Bulls first Open Cup match of the season, as MLS clubs join the field in the fourth round. New York is 6-7-1 in league play, including a 5-1-1 mark in the last seven matches. New York has not played a competitive match since May 28 due to the Copa America break.

Last season in the Open Cup, the Red Bulls defeated the Atlanta Silverbacks in the fourth round and New York Cosmos in the fifth round to advance to the quarterfinals of the competition before being eliminated by the Philadelphia Union in a penalty-kick shootout.

Rochester, the defending USL champions, currently sit in fifth place in the league’s eastern conference with a 5-2-3 record and 18 points. The Rhinos entered this year’s competition in the second round where they defeated Southie FC by a score of 7-0 and then eliminated Lansdowne Bhoys FC in the third round, 2-0.  Rochester and New York Red Bulls II, the Red Bulls’ USL affiliate, played to a 0-0 draw in the only meeting so far this season.

The Red Bulls have faced the Rhinos one time in the franchise’s history, suffering a 3-1 defeat in the 2005 U.S. Open Cup.
