The Red Bulls will head to Rio Tinto Stadium to play Real Salt Lake on Wednesday, June 22 at 10 p.m. ET (TV: MSG, MSG GO Radio: Red Bulls Radio English/Spanish on TuneIn).  The Red Bulls will look to earn their second road victory of the season and continue their current strong play in MLS action.

Here are some numbers to know ahead of Wednesday’s match against Real Salt Lake:

8: In 12 career games against Real Salt Lake, midfielder Sacha Kljestan has 8 points, which includes one goal and six assists.  Kljestan also has eight points in his last seven games, once again recording one goal and six assists.

21: In head coach Jesse Marsch’s time with the Red Bulls so far, the team has won 21 out of 26 times after scoring the first goal, good for a 21-4-1 record.  It will be important for the Red Bulls to get the upper hand in this match if they want to secure a tough away victory, something they’ve only done once so far this season.

32: With a start on Wednesday, Real Salt Lake goalkeeper Nick Rimando will have the most appearances in league history against New York with 32.  He played his first game against the club in 2000 with the Miami Fusion and later moved on to play for DC United before playing for Real Salt Lake.

43: Since 2012, RSL has earned 43 wins at Rio Tinto Stadium, which is good for fifth-most home wins in MLS in that time period.  The Red Bulls have never won a MLS regular season match at Real Salt Lake, compiling a 0-4-5 record since 2005.  However, the Red Bulls’ only win all-time in Utah came in the 2008 Western Conference Finals which saw New York advance to their first MLS Cup in the team’s history.

407: With their fourth consecutive shutout on Sunday night against the Sounders, the Red Bulls extended their clean sheet streak to 407 minutes without giving up a goal in MLS competition and 497 minutes in all competitions.  This is the first time since 2006 that the team has recorded four consecutive MLS shutouts, when the team recorded six straight shutouts.

2,716: This is the first of two away games in the next four days for the Red Bulls.  The team will have to travel 2,169 miles to Rio Tinto Stadium for the match on Wednesday night before they have to travel 547 miles to play the Columbus Crew on Saturday night for a total of 2,716 miles traveled in four days.
