New York Red Bulls II is back in action for their third and final game of their road trip against FC Cincinnati on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. ET.  New York vs. Cincinnati is the USL Game of the Week and will be aired exclusively on ESPN3.


NYRB II enter the match in second place of the Eastern Conference with a record of 11-1-5, while FC Cincinnati are slotted just one place behind in the standings at 10-3-4 on the season.


New York is coming off a 2-1 victory in Charlotte on Saturday. Forward Stefano Bonomo grabbed his third goal of the season in the 15th minute off a cross from Florian Valot. Dan Metzger continued his fine form and notched the game winner in the 64th minute after Charlotte had evened the match.


Red Bulls II extended its undefeated streak to 11 games, and is 8-0-3 on its current run. They also remained unbeaten on the road, improving to 7-0-1 away from home.


Red Bulls II has conceded only 11 goals so far this season, which is best in USL. Goalkeeper Ryan Meara has been a staple at the back with seven clean sheets on the season as well as a league best 0.66 Goals Against Average.


FC Cincinnati is coming off a 2-0 defeat to English Premier League side Crystal Palace in an international exhibition match last Saturday. In USL, Cincinnati has only lost one of their last 13 matches.


This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season, with the second match to take place at Red Bull Arena on Sunday, August 28.
