Scouting Toronto

Toronto F.C. currently sits atop the Eastern Conference with 46 points. They made an incredible push to the top without arguably the league’s most dangerous weapon in Sebastian Giovinco, who is questionable to start on Sunday due to injury. First choice goalkeeper Clint Irwin is also predicted to be sidelined, he has not appeared since June after suffering a leg injury. None of this has stopped Toronto, as they have conceded a goal or less in their previous nine outings and have won three of their last five games.

Jozy Altidore has comeback hot from being injured, the former Red Bull has six goals in his last eight league games and recently scored three goals in two games for the U.S. Men’s National Team in their World Cup Qualifiers. Altidore will pose one of the biggest threats on the pitch to the Red Bulls who have not been the most successful team away from home this year.

Michael Bradley continues to be a force for Toronto. The midfielder will be another player for New York to worry about after coming back from a successful stint with the U.S. Men’s National Team.
