The Red Bulls U16’s won a difficult game on the road against PA Classics with a late goal. The U16’s dominated the majority of the game and were unlucky on several occasions in the first half.

“We had a lot of success on the right side of the field in the first half, Aziel and Dylan were able to combine and get in behind quite often. PA Classics did a great job in blocking a lot of crosses and shots in the first half,” Nick Schimbeno said.

Against the run of play, PA Classics had a looping shot in the 29th minute that hit the top of the crossbar and was then cleared away. In the 46th minute and 59th minute, substitute Jack Valderrabano had two great chances to open the scoring but both shots were narrowly wide.

In the 75th minute of the game, forward Aziel Jackson made a great run from the left wing. Jackson beat several defenders before combining at the top of the penalty box with Scotty Taylor and was then brought down as he went in on goal. Jackson calmly converted the penalty kick into the lower left hand corner of the goal. Matt Goodman recorded his 1st shutout victory of the season in goal.
