HANOVER, N.J. – The season is winding down, but the Red Bulls are perhaps still looking to add pieces to the puzzle.

Joining from Red Bull Brasil, trialists Vitor Hugo Perusses and João Gabriel have been training with the first team as New York continues to utilize Red Bull Global’s its considerable resources from around the world.

“We’re continuing to try to build a relationship with all of our subsidiaries,” head coach Jesse Marsch said. “We’re trying to open communication lines and resource lines.”

Gabriel, a 20-year-old forward and Hugo, a 20-year-old defender, both hail from Brazil and have looked sharp in their short time with the team. It is unclear as to exactly where the two will land in the long term, but Marsch has been pleased with early returns.

“These guys are here to train for a little while with the first team, but there’s always potential for the USL team as well,” the head coach added. “They’re both young players and they’ve done pretty well. We’ll see how it all fits.”
