NYRB II started out the 2016 USL season just as hot as they finished it.
To start the season, Red Bulls II carried an 8-0-1 unbeaten road record for their first nine away games. NYRB II would finish the season with a record breaking 13-1-2 away record, which is seven points higher than the previous league record.
They followed this by boasting a 12-game unbeaten streak from May 7th to July 20th, and after two mid-season losses they finished the regular season on a 10-game unbeaten streak.
Red Bulls II had the heart of champions from the beginning of the season until the end.
