New York Red Bulls Announce 2017 Preseason Roster

AZ 2017 Preseason Roster DL

The New York Red Bulls announced today the preseason roster for the first training camp, currently underway in Tucson, Arizona. The Red Bulls will train in Arizona through February 4, and face the Portland Timbers, Real Salt Lake and New England Revolution.

The camp roster includes 20 players on MLS contracts, five players on USL contracts, two unsigned 2017 MLS SuperDraft picks and two trialists.

Four players on MLS contracts are not in camp: Gideon Baah remained home to continue rehabbing from a season-ending injury. Luis Robles and Sacha Kljestan are with the USMNT in Carson, California. Bradley Wright-Phillips will join the team after the birth of his third child, which the family expects this week.

NYRB II’s Junior Flemmings also did not travel as he works his way back from injury.

All three of New York’s 2017 MLS SuperDraft picks are in attendance, along with two trialists – Robbie Findley and Davide Somma.

The roster will be updated to reflect any changes in camp.
