NYRB II Head to Richmond in Search of Year's First Road Win

HARRISON, N.J. (April 6, 2018) – New York Red Bulls II (2-1-0, 6 points) hit the road to take on the Richmond Kickers Saturday, (1-2-0, 3 points) at City Stadium. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. ET and can be seen live at newyorkredbulls.com/2/live.

NYRB II are coming off a decisive 5-2 home win over the Charleston Battery at Red Bull Arena, which saw four different players record a goal. The victory was New York’s largest scoring output at Red Bull Arena since the 2016 USL Cup win over Swope Park Rangers.

Andrew Tinari currently leads NYRB II in scoring with three goals, eclipsing his previous total of two from 2017.

Richmond opened the 2018 USL season dropping their first two matches but rebounded last week with a 2-1 victory over league newcomer, North Carolina FC.

NYRB II emerged victorious in both matches against Richmond in 2017, including a 1-0 victory in the inaugural home opener at MSU Soccer Park.
