  • New York went down in the seventh minute off a failed clearance from Jordan Scarlett. Nashville’s Ropapa Mensah slotted one past Evan Louro to get on the scoreboard.
  • In the 27th minute, Chris Lema sent a lovely through ball to Vincent Bezecourt, who buried his attempt with a left-footed strike. The assist was Lema’s first point of his career and Bezecourt’s first USL goal of 2018.
  • With the draw, New York stays unbeaten at Red Bull Arena in 2018 posting a 3-0-1 record thus far.
  • With John Wolyniec out due to the birth of his newborn son, Ibrahim Sekagya, assistant coach since 2015, made his professional head coaching debut.
