Five Reasons to Attend Red Bulls vs. Union

The New York Red Bulls return home to Red Bull Arena Saturday for Military Appreciation Night riding a four-game win streak. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET and can be seen live on MSG, MSG GO and ESPN+.

Here’s Five Reasons to Attend Saturday’s match:

Unstoppable BWP

Bradley-Wright is off to a torrid start to the 2018 MLS campaign, with eight goals and five assists, while also coming off a second-half brace in Atlanta to propel the Red Bulls to a 3-1 win. He carries a six-game point streak totaling five goals and four assists. Enjoy watching one of the league’s all-time best finishers as he approaches 100 league goals, currently at 94.

Military Appreciation Night

Saturday will be Military Appreciation Night at Red Bull Arena. Come spend the beginning of your Memorial Day Weekend with us. The first 15,000 fans that enter Red Bull Arena will receive a free koozie, courtesy of Bayer. Tickets are available now through Ticketmaster or Fevo, where $3 of every ticket sold will be donated to K9s for Warriors.

No Better Place than Home

The Red Bulls are in the midst of their most successful stretch of the season. Currently on a four-game winning streak, New York will look to continue to defend their home field advantage in Red Bull Arena. Since it opened in 2010, the Red Bulls have the best home record in MLS, with the most home wins and points.

Murillo Send Off

Panamanian defender Michael Amir Murillo will depart for his national team following Saturday’s match. Los Canaleros, who qualified for their first World Cup, began their preparations for Russia earlier this week as they face tough group stage tests against Belgium, England and Tunisia. Murillo, a mainstay as the team’s starting right back, is in form and is looking to be sent off with three points.

Offensive Prowess

If for no other reason alone, coming to Red Bull Arena Saturday will yield goals, multiple. The Red Bulls possess firepower all over the pitch. Thirteen different goalscorers have put one in the back of the net contributing to 34 goals across all competitions. The Red Bulls also have the best goals per game mark (2.60), assists per game (3.50) and the fourth-best goals against average (1.20).
