The New York Red Bulls are proud to have TONEWALL, the premier pop a cappella band of the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus, perform the Star-Spangled Banner tonight, July 14th, prior to the Red Bulls kickoff against Sporting Kansas City.
“Soccer, as a sport, has always been deeply rooted in family and team fellowship. TONEWALL can’t wait to join the New York Red Bulls, as part of that family, for Pride Night!”
Founded in 1980, NYCGMC is currently comprised of more than 260 talented singers coming from a variety of backgrounds. Together, the chorus produces an electric sound and energy that has connected with audiences for decades and built a strong bond of devoted fans. TONEWALL was founded in February of 2016 and have been performing everything from today’s hits to classic anthems ever since.
