Brian White will get the nod from Head Coach Chris Armas to start in place of Bradley Wright-Phillips, who will miss Sunday afternoon's game due to yellow card accumulation.
White will start up top for the New York Red Bulls as they take on Atlanta United FC at Red Bull Arena, with kickoff at 1 p.m.
"We think he's going to be an incredible replacement," Armas said. "Nothing he's going to do will surprise us on the inside."
Daniel Royer, Kaku and Alex Muyl will lead the midfield attack for New York.
Sean Davis and Marc Rzatkowski will anchor the defensive midfield.
Tyler Adams will be held out of the match with a back issue.
The backline of Michael Amir Murillo, Aaron Long, Tim Parker and Kemar Lawrence will start in front of Captain Luis Robles in goal.
Armas will have Ryan Meara on the bench as backup goalkeeper, with Anatole Abang, Derrick Etienne, Jr., Andreas Ivan, Fidel Escobar, Connor Lade and Cristian Casseres, Jr. available as subs.
Abang makes his first appearance on an 18-man roster since July 2016.
"Two guys that are fearless and really interesting," Armas said of Abang and Casseres, Jr.
Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. ET with coverage on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish on TuneIn.
New York Red Bulls Radio goes live at 12 noon ET with Honda Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will carry the Spanish play-by-play, beginning at 1 p.m.
