(Oct. 17, 2018) – With two matches remaining in league play, the New York Red Bulls (20-7-5, 65 pts) head down the New Jersey Turnpike to face the Philadelphia Union (15-9-8) on Sunday at Talen Energy Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m. ET with coverage on MSG, MSG GO and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish on TuneIn.

New York Red Bulls Radio goes live at 2:30 p.m. ET with Honda Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will carry the Spanish play-by-play, beginning at 3 p.m.

New York and Philadelphia clash on Sunday as both teams are having franchise-best seasons. The Red Bulls and the Union sit second and fourth, respectively, in the Eastern Conference standings and have tallied club single-season records for wins and points. New York, however, has recently bested Philadelphia in league play, holding the Union scoreless over the last 270 minutes and are unbeaten in eight of the last nine (5-1-3).

The Red Bulls conclude their 2018 road league-play slate on Sunday. New York is 3-1-3 away from Red Bull Arena in the last seven matches and have tallied seven road wins overall, which is one shy of tying the club record and tied for second most in MLS. Overall, the Red Bulls have strung together three-straight wins, which is the longest active streak in MLS, and are unbeaten in 10 of the last 11 matches (7-1-3).

Midfielder Alex Muyl has found his offensive stride late in the season. Muyl has tallied at least a point in back-to-back matches and four of the last six (1G, 3A). The New York, New York, native has recorded three goals and five assists in just 1,125 minutes played. His three goals are tied for a career best and his five assists are just one shy of his career best.
