Red Bulls and Southern New Hampshire University Announce New Makerspace Lab at Camden Elementary School in Newark, NJ

Harrison, NJ - The New York Red Bulls and Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) teamed up with After School All-Stars to announce a brand new Makerspace Lab today at Camden Elementary School in Newark, NJ. The lab was revamped with a fresh coat of paint, new furniture and 3D printers that will provide students with a space to develop new skills through hands-on learning. Other features that will be integrated soon include a mobile kitchen, photography/sound engineering equipment and hydroponic garden.


Red Bulls players Tyler Adams and Kevin Politz were joined by General Manager Marc de Grandpre along with SNHU's Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships, Steve Thiel, After School All-Stars Executive Director Nicole Harris and students of Camden Street Elementary School.


"We are honored to join our partner Southern New Hampshire University in announcing this important educational and developmental lab for the students of Camden Elementary," saidde Grandpre. "Thanks to the support of the After School All-Stars, children will have the opportunity to learn new skills that will be applicable now and for years to come."

"Our hope is that the lab will provide students with the space to experiment, tap into their creativity and develop new skills through hands-on learning."
