Red Bulls - Earthquakes match Saturday to be televised live on MSG Networks

The New York Red Bulls’ MLS Cup Playoffs first leg against the San Jose Earthquakes at Buck Shaw Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 30 at 10:00 PM ET will be telecast live on MSG+2. The match will also be shown in progress on MSG at 10:30 PM.

New York will travel to Buck Shaw Stadium to take on San Jose on Saturday before the teams head to Red Bull Arena on Thursday, Nov. 4 at 8:00 PM ET for the second leg (TV: ESPN2, ESPN Deportes, ESPN3) in the two-leg Eastern Conference Semifinal Series. The winner of the series will take on the victor of the Columbus Crew-Colorado Rapids match-up in the Eastern Conference Final – a match the top seed Red Bulls would host if they were to advance.

New York clinched the top spot in the Eastern Conference with a 2-0 victory over the New England Revolution last Thursday, Oct. 21 in its final match of the regular season. With the win, New York finished with a 15-9-6 record and 51 points and completed the best one-season turnaround in league history. The Red Bulls improved by 10 victories and 30 points from 2009, when the team finished last in MLS.
