Red Bull Salzburg
After being eliminated from the title race by drawing with SV Josko Ried, the Red Bulls (17-7-12) traveled to Vienna and emerged victories with a 4-2 win over FK Austria Wien.

The victory pushed Salzburg two points ahead of FK Austria, which positioned the Red Bulls as the tipp3-Bundesliga runner-up. Salzburg concluded their season having won its last four away matches. The Red Bulls finished the season only three points behind league champion SK Sturm Graz.  The second place finish qualifies Salzburg for the UEFA Europa League.

Red Bull Salzburg has also announced that they have decided to not renew the contracts for the following players: Rabiu Afolabi, Laszlo Bodnar, Milan Dudic, Wolfgang Schober, Gerhard Tremmel, and Johan Vonlanthen.

Red Bull Leipzig
On June 1, Red Bull Leipzig captured the Wernesgrüner Saxony Cup by topping Chemnitzer FC by a score of 1-0. Playing in the final game of his professional career, defender Ingo Hertzsch managed to find the back of the net with a header in the 39th minute. Hertzsch’s header turned out to be the decisive goal in the championship bout.

Along with capturing the cup championship, which qualifies the team for the German Cup, the Red Bulls managed to set the cup final attendance record when 13,958 spectators showed up to Red Bull Arena to watch the two teams square off.

Red Bull Brasil
Red Bull Brasil is currently in the midst of the preseason, which will consist of five friendly matches. Copa Paulista play will begin on July 17, with the champion earning a spot in the Copa do Brasil for the 2012 season.

The U-15 and U-17 squads each faced Nacional in an away match. The Red Bulls managed to sweep both matches, as the U-15 squad one their match 1-0 and the U-17’s won by a count of 2-0.

Both the U-15 and U-17 squads will take on Nacional at home on June 11, while the Red Bull U-20’s are set to play June 10 at home against Bragantino.

Red Bull Ghana
The club’s season has ended and the team is in the offseason.

The U-14 and U-16 Red Bulls each managed to conclude the month of May with unbeaten records. Both teams played numerous matches during the month and managed to either win or draw in every contest. Each team’s coach noted that the development of the players is heading in the right direction, which has been displayed by an increased quality of play on the pitch.
