You sent along your #AskDax questions to @NewYorkRedBulls on Twitter, and we passed them along to Dax after Wednesday's training session. Here's what he had to say in response to your Tweets.
Dax McCarty: All good things come to those who wait (soon enough).
McCarty: We're very confident going into the game based on our performance against D.C. We have lots of respect for Montreal. They’ve started the season very strong, and it’s going to be a fantastic atmosphere, but we’re ready to get our first win of the season.
McCarty: "Hi, I'm Dax McCarty..."
McCarty: It’s an honor to be able to play with a guy like Tim in the midfield. He does a lot of the little things that go unnoticed but are very important to help the team.
McCarty: Ever since I was a kid I’ve always supported Manchester United. Still do. Looking forward to see them win their 20th Premier League title.
McCarty: You’re like Batman – when you’re needed, you will be called upon.
McCarty: Beating D.C. United 3-2 at home in front of a packed stadium last year. Also winning the Emirates Cup was a cool experience as well.
McCarty: You already are, but continue eating your Lucky Charms. That can only help.
McCarty: The best bromance on the team is without a doubt Ryan Meara and Connor Lade. They just moved into their own place together. It’s a two bedroom place, but they are sharing a room and have bunk beds.
McCarty: You’re going to have to ask the designer what I did to make him mad.
McCarty: Ice cream. Not only is it delicious, but when it melts you can also drink it like a milkshake. It’s a win-win.
McCarty: I listen to literally every different type of music you could imagine. Rap, rock, alternative…and Bieber.
