Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: It was another perfect weekend for the Red Bulls Academy sides.

Nothing like another strong outing, as the pre-Academy, U-14 and U-15 teams combined for a 3-0 record in matches played.

The 99 pre-Academy Red Bulls improved upon their perfect 17-0-0 record for the season with a 2-1 win over the Baltimore Bays this past weekend. Kevin Doorley opened up the scoring to give New York the early lead before Kevin Alvarado scored his first of the season to double up the Red Bulls. The Bays pulled within one after a Red Bulls back pass resulted in an own-goal, but New York locked down for the remainder of the match to thwart any further opportunities and secure the win.

The Baltimore Bays fell to the U-14 Red Bulls 3-0 on Saturday as the squad continues to maintain its hold on first place. Danny Laranetto picked up the first goal of the match off a 20-yard shot in the first half. Dante Greer and Markez Zalla added a goal apiece, while Xavier Kennedy earned the shutout, as the Red Bulls improved to 18-1-1 on the season.

Despite an early 1-0 deficit, the U-15 Red Bulls rallied back to pick up a strong 4-2 win over the Baltimore Bays. Breno Lustosa earned a brace after finding the back of the net on two free kicks before the half, while Rafael Terci and Jerel Blades rounded out the scoring in the second half.
