The New York Red Bulls' Thierry Henry joins San Jose's Chris Wondolowski and Sporting KC's Graham Zusi as nominees in the "Best MLS Player" category for the 2013 ESPY Awards.

Since joining the Red Bulls midway through the 2010 season, Henry has accumulated 37 goals and 20 assists over 77 appearances, 74 of which were starts. In 2012 alone, Henry was an MLS MVP runner-up, named to the MLS All-Star team (also received a nod in 2011), and was a five-time MLS Player of the Week, making him the first player in MLS history to be named POW for three straight weeks.

So far in 2013, Henry has tallied six goals and added one assist, placing him in the league's Top 10 for the MLS Golden Boot race.
