Only twice before have we ever seen a season like the one Bradley Wright-Phillips has put together in a New York Red Bulls jersey in 2014.

And RBNY supporters went out of their way to show their appreciation.

The South Ward unfurled a clever, massive tifo on Thursday night at Red Bull Arena (see above) to honor BWP's record-tying 27-goal season just moments before the opening whistle of the Eastern Conference Knockout Round match between the Red Bulls and Sporting Kansas City (WATCH IT HERE).

BWP, who now shares the regular season goal-scoring record with Roy Lassiter and Chris Wondolowski, repaid the supporters' love with the currency he's most familiar with: goals.

The Englishman scored two of them against SKC, including a 90th-minute game-winner, as the Red Bulls moved on to the Eastern Conference semifinals against DC United.

And it was only fitting that both goals came in the second half. Right in front of the South Ward.
