Six Red Bulls players called up for international duty

HARRISON, NJ - Six New York Red Bulls players have been called into their respective national teams during the final international window of 2014. Tim Cahill (Australia), Sanitago Castano (USMNT U20), Matt Miazga (USMNT U20), Roy Miller (Costa Rica), Ambroise Oyongo (Cameroon) and Ibrahim Sekagya (Uganda) will all join their teams this week.


Cahill will join Australia as the Socceroos take on Japan on November 18 at Osaka Nagai Stadium in Osaka, Japan.


Santiago Castano and Matt Miazga will join the USMNT U-20 squad as they open with a match against Russia's U-21 national team on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at San Pedro Stadium. The U.S. then takes on the Republic of Ireland's U-20s on Nov. 15 at San Pedro Stadium and Canada's U-20 national team on Nov. 18 at the Marbella Football Center.


Roy Miller and Costa Rica will take on Uruguay on November 13 at the Centenario in Montevideo, Uruguay.


Ambroise Oyongo and Cameroon are set for two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Democratic Republic of Congo on November 15 in Yaounde, Cameroon before taking on Cote d'Ivoire on November 19 in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire.


Sekagya and Uganda will take on Ghana on November 15 in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier as well.
