PDL Match Recap: Red Bulls draw D.C. United U-23s in Hanover

East Hanover, N.J. (May 17, 2015) – The New York Red Bulls U-23 team earned a 1-1 draw with D.C. United U-23s on Sunday night at the Red Bulls Training Facility. Sean Sheridan buried a game-tying penalty kick in the 86th minute in a wild game that saw each team receive a red card.


D.C. United went ahead in the 63rd minute on a goal from Dakota Niedermeier. Each team was shown a red card during the game. New York outshot D.C. 12-6 in the game. The Red Bulls U-23s are now 1-0-1 after opening the season with a win over Brooklyn-based F.A. Euro on Friday. The team is back in action on Sunday, May 24 when they host Lehigh Valley at the Red Bulls Training Facility.
