The New York Red Bulls U-23 team has advanced to the PDL Eastern Conference playoffs after winning the Mid-Atlantic division with a 9-2-3 record. This is the first year the U-23s have competed in PDL after making the switch from NPSL.

The U-23 program, coached by Rob Elliot and Ricky King, gives Red Bulls Academy players an opportunity to train and play together during summer and winter breaks from their college teams. The roster is supplemented select guest players.

The U-23s finished the regular season in style with a 10-0 victory over Westchester F.C. last weekend at the Red Bulls Training Facility.

New York will face GPS Portland this Saturday at NJIT in Newark. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. GPS Portland, based in Maine, won the Northeast division with an 8-1-5 record.
