HARRISON, N.J. (August 19, 2015) – The New York Red Bulls have released the tryout dates for the upcoming fall Regional Development School (RDS), the club announced today. To find a tryout date in a host organization near you, visit the RDS registration page on RedBullsAcademy.com. The RDS will return to all previous locations, in addition to adding new facilities, such as SoFive in Carlstadt, N.J., to the schedule.

The program will be more accessible than ever, and continues to be the best pathway to the area's highest level youth soccer program following the sixth consecutive season where RDS players accounted for more than 90 percent of players selected for the Red Bulls’ youngest Academy team.

All RDS locations offer eight weeks of advanced, technical training, focusing specifically on individual functions of the game. Accessible via tryout, each course provides an intensive and challenging environment unlike any other.

Top players in the RDS will be selected to represent the New York Red Bulls in winter showcase tournament play, and work towards selection for the highly successful summer select teams, which collected more than 10 titles last year. Players who excel will earn the opportunity to train with and tryout for the full academy teams.

The Red Bulls RDS features a low coach-to-player ratio, the most highly qualified staff in the area, and an unrivaled end of season evaluation. The RDS will also now offer a homework tracking service and online video curriculum for at-home development.

Applications are encouraged from boys and girls born between 2002 and 2008, who have a strong travel soccer background, and are looking for a unique training environment to supplement their existing club schedule.

Applications are also welcome from high level boys born in 2004, looking to enhance their chances of joining the youngest Academy team which will be formed in spring 2016.

To find out more, check a detailed schedule, and register for a free try out, visit the RDSpage on the brand new Red Bulls Academy website.
