Luis Robles’ save on Dominique Badji against Colorado Rapids helped extend the Red Bulls’ unbeaten start to the season to seven games. In the 36th minute, Badji broke loose in behind the defense. Robles charged to the penalty spot in an effort to confront him, and Badji fired at the top of the 18-yard box. The goalkeeper hit the floor, getting enough of the ball to deflect it to his right. The ball advanced dangerously towards the net, but gently nicked the outside of the post and rolled harmlessly out of bounds for a corner kick. The save was enough to earn the Red Bulls a draw, 1-1.
