The 2016 MLS season kicks off on Sunday, March 6. Yeah, we're excited too.

So excited, in fact, that we're going to do something we've never done before. We're going to produce a live digital second-screen experience to get you ready for the season and bring you closer to the action as it unfolds on the day.

MLS Soccer Sunday: Week 1 LIVE will bring you nearly four hours of coverage beginning at 1 p.m. ET on March 6. It will air on MLSsoccer.com (on this page, actually, so bookmark it!), ESPN3 and FOXSportsGO, and we'll announce additional streaming partners in the coming days.

So what are the details? you ask.

Well, Week 1 LIVE will get you prepared for the season and take you into the action on the day. We'll have club previews, live look-ins to the first six matches of the day, in-depth analysis of the game action, and live reports from the stadiums, all into the lead-up to the four nationally broadcast matches that evening.

We've got a killer line-up of MLS experts on the show:

In addition, we'll have Kristen Kenney reporting on location in Chicago and Jillian Sakovits live from Portland.

No live show would be complete without hearing from the fans. We'll have social media correspondents at all 10 venues, and we'll be integrating social media activity and user-generated content curated through the hashtag #SoccerSunday.

So join us. It's going to be awesome, and the perfect way to get ready for the 2016 MLS season and the first Soccer Sunday of the year.
