HARRISON, N.J. (March 5, 2016) – The New York Red Bulls announced its radio announcing team and broadcast schedule for the 2016 season today. Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn will broadcast all 34 games in English and Spanish in 2016.
Matt Harmon and former MetroStars and Red Bulls standout Steve Jolley return as the announcers for the English broadcast team while Ernesto Motta is back as the voice of the Red Bulls in Spanish.
“Countdown to Kickoff” will be the official pre-game show on Red Bulls Radio throughout the 2016 season. Each home match at Red Bull Arena will feature a 60-minute version of “Countdown to Kickoff” while road fixtures will have a 30-minute pre-game show.
Mark Fishkin of the Seeing Red podcast and Matt Harmon will both serve as hosts of “Countdown to Kickoff” throughout the 2016 season.
In addition to the RBNY game broadcasts on TuneIn, Red Bulls Radio will produce a monthly coaches show on TuneIn Radio. Harmon and Jolley will join head coach Jesse Marsch on the program. Each show will also feature an interview with one of the players or assistant coaches throughout the season.
Red Bulls Radio en Espanol with Motta will also have a coaches show monthly throughout the 2016 season.
Fans can interact with both shows by sending questions with the hashtag #RedBullsRadio.
All 34 of New York’s MLS matches will be broadcast live on the team’s 24/7 radio channel – Red Bulls Radio – via TuneIn. The Red Bulls were the first team in Major League Soccer to have their own 24/7 radio channel on TuneIn.
The team streams live audio broadcasts of all games in both English and Spanish via the team’s official website, NewYorkRedBulls.com.
The Internet radio broadcasts will also be available via the TuneIn player in addition to the TuneIn Radio app and all of TuneIn’s platforms.
