New York Red Bulls to Host Tryouts This Weekend for Sueño MLS 2016 – Presented by Allstate
Walk-up opportunities available for nationally-televised search for best undiscovered young soccer player; New York Red Bulls scheduled to appear
NEW YORK (April 22, 2016) – The dream continues this weekend for more than 400 aspiring young soccer players as Sueño MLS 2016 – Presented by Allstate Insurance Company, the nationally-televised player search, moves to the New York area with tryouts on April 23 at Flushing Meadows in Flushing, New York, and April 24 in Hanover, New Jersey, hosted by the New York Red Bulls.
While pre-registration for the New York Red Bulls event is full, players are encouraged to sign up in person for the “walk-up” list starting Saturday, April 23 at 7:30 a.m. ET.
Friends and family of participating players, as well as the general public, are invited to watch the tryouts and enjoy the interactive fan zone presented by the event partners. New York Red Bulls players, as well as Univision Deportes personality Aly Villegas are scheduled to make special appearances.
In addition, Sueño MLS will host a free public goalkeeping clinic on Saturday, April 23, between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. ET.
