#CallYourShot: Dax McCarty hits the target to help fight Malaria

Every two minutes, a child dies of malaria – a deadly but preventable disease. Over the last 10 years, Americans and people around the world have rallied together to make progress in the fight to end malaria, with 6.2 million lives saved. But there's still work to be done.


In his 2016 State of the Union address, President Barack Obama called his shot by calling on Congress to continue strong bipartisan US leadership in ending malaria. We’re in the fourth quarter of this fight. If we work together, we can be the generation to end malaria for good.
