New York enters with a 5-2-3 record over the last 10 league games. The Red Bulls are just 1-7-2 on the road this season, but they did win the lone away matchup at Philadelphia last season.

The Red Bulls snapped a four-game winless streak with a 2-0 victory over Orlando City SC on Wednesday night at Red Bull Arena.  Connor Lade scored his first career MLS goal in the 38th minute, finding a loose ball after a Sean Davis corner kick and firing a rocket from the top of the box.

Felipe doubled the Red Bulls' lead with a free-kick strike in the 59th minute. All four of the Brazilian's goals this season have come from outside the penalty area.

Luis Robles and the New York defense also extended their home shutout streak to 546 consecutive minutes without conceding a goal.  The streak has gone six complete games, with the last goal for a road team coming on April 24 against Orlando City in the 84th minute.

Mike Grella has three goals in his last two games against the Union. He scored the Red Bulls' goal in the 2-1 loss to Philly in the U.S. Open Cup on June 29, and scored twice, including the fastest goal in MLS history, against the Union in a 4-1 win at Red Bull Arena in the last regular season meeting on October 18, 2015. Grella has six goals and three assists this season.

Philadelphia enters the game at 8-6-5 and sit second place in the East, two points ahead of the Red Bulls.  The Union played a friendly against English outfit Crystal Palace on Wednesday. The club defeated D.C. United, 3-0 last Saturday in MLS action.  Chris Pontius and Roland Alberg lead the team with six goals each. Former Red Bulls forward Sebastien Le Toux leads the team with five assists.

After Sunday's match, New York will return home for the final New York Derby of the season, with New York City FC visiting Red Bull Arena on Sunday, July 24.  Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. with coverage on FOX and Red Bulls Radio.
