The New York Red Bulls will hit the road to face off against the Los Angeles Galaxy on Sunday night at 9:30 pm E.T. (TV: FS1, Fox Deportes Radio: Red Bulls Radio in English/Spanish on TuneIn).  This will be the only matchup between the two teams this season and the first time they have played each other since April 2015, a 1-1 draw at Red Bull Arena.

Scouting the Galaxy


Los Angeles currently sits in third place in the Western Conference with 36 points. The Galaxy have been a force at home this season, posting a 6-0-4 record at the Stubhub Center. They have gone undefeated in their last seven games with a 4-0-3 mark. The Red Bulls defense will have their hands full with the LA attack that includes Steven Gerrard, Robbie Keane and Giovani dos Santos. Dos Santos and Keane lead the team with seven goals a piece, while Gerrard has three goals and eight assists.


The Galaxy have a league-best +15 goal differential, scoring 35 and allowing just 20 in 21 games. The Red Bulls have the second-best goal differential at +8. The Galaxy are outscoring opponents 21-8 in home games.
