New York Red Bulls Announce New Communications Department Moves

HARRISON, N.J. (September 15, 2016) – The New York Red Bulls announced today changes to the club’s Communications department. The club adds Andrew Vazzano as Senior Manager, Digital & Social Media, and has transitioned Chris Orihuela from Communications Assistant to Digital & Social Media Coordinator.


Vazzano will be responsible for the planning and execution of the organization’s digital communications platforms, including social media for the New York Red Bulls, New York Red Bulls II and Red Bull Arena.


Vazanno joins the Red Bulls from SportsNet New York, where he managed SNY's website, including building a news desk and editing team, oversaw a website redesign, and helped launch SNY’s MLS coverage. Vazzano, who has both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Quinnipiac University, lives in Verona, N.J. with his wife.


Orihuela is a native of Chicago, Ill., and currently lives in Morris Plains, N.J. He graduated from Seton Hall University in 2015 and majored in Public Relations & Journalism. He started with the Red Bulls as a Communications intern in September of 2014 before continuing as a Community Relations intern the following Spring. He signed on as the Communications Assistant after graduation, working primarily with New York Red Bulls II and Red Bull Training Programs before transitioning into Digital and Social Media.
