The New York Red Bulls can clinch a spot in the 2016 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs with a win this Saturday.

Playing at Red Bull Arena against Montreal Impact, New York can lock up a spot in the MLS Playoffs with three points.

The team currently has 45 points after 30 games, trailing only Toronto F.C., who lead the Eastern Conference with 47 points through 29 games.  The Red Bulls sit in a tie for second in the conference with New York City FC, however the Red Bulls have the tiebreak at the moment.

If the Red Bulls can pick up three points on Saturday, they will have 48 on the year with three games remaining. The 48 points would be enough to finish above at least four of the 10 teams in the Conference and be enough to make the 2016 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs in some capacity.

As for their outlook for Saturday, New York has gone 10-2-2 this season at Red Bull Arena and have won all six lifetime meetings against the Impact at home.

This season, they’ve split the two games they’ve played so far, each winning on their home turf. Dominic Oduro, Ignacio Piatti and Anthony Jackson-Hamel all scored in a 3-0 Impact victory, March 12 at Stade Saputo; Bradley Wright-Phillips netted a pair of goals as the Red Bulls took a 3-1 win Aug. 13 at Red Bull Arena.

Single-game tickets are still available for Saturday evening’s match, which kicks off at 7 p.m.
