HARRISON, N.J. (September 26, 2016) - The New York Red Bulls travel to Guatemala to take on Antigua GFC on Tuesday in its final group stage matchup of the 2016-17 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League. New York sits atop Group F with seven points from three games.
Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET, with coverage on Facebook Live and Univision Deportes. Red Bulls Radio will also carry the game in English with play-by-play from Matt Harmon.
With a result, New York will clinch the top spot in Group F and earn a berth in the SCCL Quarterfinals.
New York extended its unbeaten streak to sixteen games across all competitions last Saturday with a 1-0 victory against the Montreal Impact at Red Bull Arena. New York is unbeaten in a franchise-record 13 MLS contests, and is 2-0-1 in Champions League play, since its last defeat of any kind on July 3.
Daniel Royer scored his first MLS goal to give the Red Bulls three points at home on Saturday. Chris Duvall sent in a cross that Royer headed past the keeper in the 60th minute.
The Red Bulls are 2-0-1 in Group F, including a 3-0 win over Antigua at home in August. Antigua GFC is 0-1-1, currently in last place in the group. Antigua has one match remaining against Alianza FC after Tuesday. In New York's last SCCL outing, the Red Bulls came away with a 1-0 victory over Alianza FC on the strength of a 90th minute goal from Sacha Kljestan on September 15.
After Tuesday, New York returns to MLS action to host the Philadelphia Union on Saturday, October 1. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., with coverage on MSG+, MSG GO and Red Bulls Radio.
