Montreal is coming off a victory over New York in the first leg of the Semifinals. They didn’t have Didier Drogba, who reportedly has returned to training after missing one month of play. Matteo Mancosu picked up the slack in against New York, scoring the only goal of the match. Another threat for Sunday’s game is Ignacio Piatti who has led the team all year in goals scored, but failed to get on the scoresheet in the first leg.

Goalkeeper Evan Bush has had a strong season, starting all but one game and finishing seventh in saves. Piatti finished tied for third most goals scored on the season, with 17. Mancosu has come on strong since joining Montreal mid-season, as he has six goals and five assists in nine starts.

Montreal holds a 5-6-7 away record, while New York boasts a 13-2-2 home record.

New York will try to pick up their play after the loss to Montreal in the first leg. The Red Bulls have never lost to Montreal at home and look to continue that streak.

Bradley Wright-Phillips won the Golden Boot, with 24 goals on the season. Sacha Kljestan finished in first place atop the MLS assist leaders with 20. Luis Robles led the league in shutouts (11) and wins (16) this season.
