The New York Red Bulls featured in three of the five best matches of the 2016 MLS regular season, according to MLSSoccer.com.
New York's 7-0 thrashing of cross-town rival New York City FC leads the way as one of the top games of the year, to no surprise. Captain Dax McCarty had two goals, Bradley Wright-Phillips had a brilliant bicycle kick and three other Red Bulls cashed in for the lopsided victory.
The Red Bulls 3-3 draw with Toronto in mid-September was also named. That game featured a brace from Bradley Wright-Phillips, including his 20th goal of the season.
Finally, New York's 3-2 victory over Philadelphia Union at Red Bull Arena on October 1 rounded out the list. The captain scored the game-winner in that thrilling victory at home.
