Latest Mock Draft Has RBNY Selecting A Right Back at No. 17

2017 SuperDraft Table

In the final mock draft before Friday's MLS SuperDraft, New York is projected to select a right back.

Matthew Doyle's mock has the Red Bulls picking defender Colton Storm out of the University of North Carolina.

Doyle suggests that with Connor Lade coming back from an ACL injury and Chris Duvall getting selected in the Expansion Draft, New York will be looking to shore up their defense at the SuperDraft.

Storm, from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, was a High School All-American before playing for the Tar Heels. As team captain, Storm was named NSCAA Third Team All-South Region, Second Team All-Atlantic Coast Conference and NCAA College Cup Best XI in 2016.

In an earlier mock draft, Doyle had New York selecting a local product, Monmouth University goalkeeper Eric Klenofsky
