MATCH RECAP: New York falls in final Desert Friendly

CASA GRANDE, Ariz. (February 3, 2017) – The New York Red Bulls fell to New England Revolution, 2-0, on Friday afternoon in a preseason match at Grande Sports World.


The match was New York’s third of the 2017 preseason as the club continues preparations for the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinals and upcoming MLS season.


Kei Kamara scored the opener in the 25th minute, and Brian Wright iced the game in the final minutes of the match.


Alex Muyl left the game in the 37th minute due to an injury caused by an aerial collision.


The Red Bulls started with the same players that lined up against Real Salt Lake on Tuesday.
