The two latest additions to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC roster could both debut for them against the New York Red Bulls on Thursday.
Fredy Montero andBrek Shea could both make their first Whitecaps appearances in Leg 2 of the CONCACAF Champions League Quarterfinals in Canada on Thursday night.
"We've brought him in to be involved with this group and if the paperwork's done, we [should see him] on Thursday," Whitecaps head coach Carl Robinson said about Shea, whom they acquired over the weekend in a deal with Orlando City.
Montero, who has been with the team for a couple of weeks now, has been slated to make his first appearance for the team since before the 1-1 draw in Leg 1.
