Anthony Wallace scored his second goal of the MLS season against Toronto FC on Aug. 15. Sacha Kljestan held the ball on the left side as most of his options were marked by Toronto defenders. Wallace, who was playing left back, made a central run in some space. Kljestan laid it off to Wallace who took one touch and fired a low driven left-footed shot from 25-yards past the goalkeeper to double the Red Bulls’ advantage. Later in the match, Gonzalo Veron scored New York’s third of the match en route to a clean sheet, 3-0.
