As we reflect upon our 20th MLS season, NewYorkRedBulls.com is counting down the best saves of the Red Bulls’ 2015 regular season campaign.
In Week 14, Luis Robles earned a nomination for MLS Save of the Week for his cool handling of a Brad Davis free kick. Houston earned a free kick near the touchline on the right side of the pitch and Davis sent an inswinging ball into the middle of the penalty box. The Dynamo players advanced in an effort to redirect the ball past Robles, but no one got on the end of it and the ball bounced off the turf towards the back post. Robles acted quickly, diving to lift the ball over the crossbar with his outstretched right hand, saving a goal.
