The New York Red Bulls’ midfielder Cristian Cásseres Jr. will participate in this summer’s Copa América, which will be played in Brazil.
The 21-year-old just participated in La Vinotinto’s recent World Cup Qualifiers, starting against Bolivia in La Paz and coming off the bench against Uruguay in Caracas.
José Peseiro’s final roster also includes other MLS representatives like Jhonder Cádiz, Josef Martínez, Júnior Moreno, Yeferson Soteldo, Ronald Hernández and José Andrés Martínez.
Venezuela’s group stage games are the following:

vs. Colombia, June 17
vs. Ecuador, June 20
vs. Perú, June 27
The top four of each group of five teams will make it to the knockout stage. Venezuela’s group includes Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Perú.
