HARRISON, N.J. (October 21, 2022) – The New York Red Bulls have qualified for the Audi 2023 MLS Cup Playoffs and will now host Charlotte FC in the Wild Card match on Wednesday, October 25 at Red Bull Arena.

Kicking off at 7:30 PM ET, with coverage on MLS Season Pass and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app and NewYorkRedBulls.com.

This will be the first time that New York has faced off against Charlotte FC in the postseason.

The Red Bulls have posted a 0-0-2 mark against Charlotte FC this season. On June 21, the Red Bulls tied Charlotte FC, with a 2-2 draw at Red Bull Arena. 

The Red Bulls clinched their 14th consecutive postseason berth, which is the longest streak in league history. The Red Bulls have recorded 13 seasons where they have posted 10-plus wins since 2010. 

New York have qualified 24 times for the MLS Cup Playoffs, which is the most in league history, and have only missed out on the playoffs four times in franchise history.

The Red Bulls’ consecutive streak of 14 postseason berths is the longest stretch among major sports teams in the New York metro area and in men's North American sports.
