The New York Red Bulls forwards are focused on finishing, according to Head Coach Jesse Marsch.
âWeâve talked about savviness, weâve talked about sharpness and weâve talked about aggressiveness with the ball and without the ball,â he said. âWeâve been a little bit stagnant where guys are waiting for things to happen. Iâm adamant in making sure that we have the right ideas and the right commitment in the box.â
Two-time Golden Boot winner Bradley Wright-Phillips said the team is not firing on all cylinders in the final third and they know it.
âWeâve got to find different ways in our games to be better,â BWP said.
Fredrik Gulbrandsen, who participated fully in training on Tuesday, said that sometimes teams need to click before the goals start coming.
âThe goalsâĤ they will come,â he said. âWhen they come, they will come for many guys.â
Marsch said that the Red Bulls have to start getting the first goal of the game and holding onto their leads.
âThis team scores goals. I know weâll score goals again,â Marsch said. âItâll come around."
