HARRISON, N.J. (May 9, 2024) - New York Red Bulls Academy players Tobias Szewczyk, Adri Mehmeti, Alex Gomez, Paul Sokoloff and Astin Mbaye have all been called up to the U-15 United States Youth National Team for the upcoming Vlatko Marković Invitational Tournament in Croatia from May 10 to 24.
This is the fifth call up to the U-15 Youth National Team for Szewczyk, Mehmeti, Gomez and Sokoloff, who have consistently featured in Tournaments and Training Camps with the side over the past year.
Most recently, the four participated in the U-15 Youth National Team Training Camp in Atlanta, Georgia in April.
All four Red Bulls Academy players were also called in to the U-15 side for the UEFA Development Tournament in Portugal in November of last year.
The players will be in Croatia as their Academy sides continue the MLS NEXT regular season.
