Get To Know Vincent Bezecourt

After helping New York Red Bulls II to a championship in 2016 and joining the first team last year, midfielder Vincent Bezecourt has re-joined the first team for his second MLS season with the club.



With New York Red Bulls II, Bezecourt helped the club to a 2016 USL championship and led the team last season in assists with 11 helpers.


Bezecourt’s 11 assists were tied for second-most in USL, bringing his NYRB II career total to 17.


The 24-year-old appeared in 24 matches for the USL team in last season, in which 23 of those appearances were starts. In his 2012 minutes of play, Bezecourt netted six goals as well, fifth most on the team.



For his successful USL season, the St. Francis Brooklyn graduate was named to the 2017 USL All-League Second Team.


With the first team, Bezecourt made his MLS debut as a starter on August 18, 2017.


In his second start of the season, he tallied his first assist with a beautiful backheel to setup the game winner against D.C. United on October 22.


Bezecourt appeared in three MLS matches last season after joining the club in August.
