GOLD CUP: Lawrence and Jamaica earn draw versus Mexico

New York Red Bulls defender Kemar Lawrence started and played the full 90 minutes in a scoreless draw for Jamaica against Mexico, 0-0.


Lawrence took two corner kicks in the match.


Jamaica currently stands in second place of Group C (1-0-1, 4 pts.), and is tied on points with first place Mexico.


The top two teams of each group will qualify for the Gold Cup quarterfinals, in addition to the top two third-place teams overall.


Jamaica will finish the Gold Cup Group Stage on Sunday, July 16, versus El Salvador at 6 p.m. ET (TV: FS1, UDN).
